N'Tense Fitness offers group strength and conditioning programs that focus on improving endurance, balance, core strength, power, agility, speed and conditioning.

RESULTS

This type of training is observable, measurable and repeatable.  Which means that you will see your fitness level improve.  There are ten  components that are developed each session:  cardiovascular, strength, coordination, stamina, power, agility, accuracy, speed, balance and flexibility.

TYPICAL CLASSES INCORPORATE THE FOLLOWING TRAINING TECHNIQUES

AMRAP short for As Many Reps As Possible, this style of training encourages you to complete a set list of moves as many times as possible in a set amount of time.  The goals is to keep the intensity level high and compete with yourself.  This style of training is great for building a baseline and tracking progression as you advance month to month.

Tabata training is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It consists of eight rounds of ultra-high-intensity exercises in a specific 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off interval. It may only take four minutes to complete a Tabata circuit, but those four minutes may well push your body to its absolute limit.  Another benefit of Tabata is an increased metabolism over an extended period of time.

EMOM is a type of interval workout where you perform a specific task at the start of every minute for a set amount of time.  This style of training builds endurance and stamina by introducing short recovery periods followed by bursts of high-intensity.  This allows our athletes to recover very quickly after depleting their bodies.
