OBSTACLE & RACE CHALLENGES
Obstacle and Race Challenges allow you to push yourself further than you thought possible. This is where the training and the classes at N'Tense Fitness come together! Many of our members participate in outside events by forming N'Tense Fitness teams of all levels.
"Three miles that will change your life. Our mission is to change 100 million lives by motivating people to get out of their comfort zones and learn about, experience, and embrace the Spartan lifestyle." Race types include the Sprint, Super & the Beat - ranging from 20 obstacles from 3-14 miles.
Dubbed the "Functional Fitness Competition for the Rest of Us" this event is open to novice & intermediate athletes only. Between 8,000 and 10,000 athletes compete worldwide on the same day in this one-day event. Athletes compete in either the Novice, Intermediate or Masters Division.
Tough Mudder is 10 miles of mud and 20 best-in-class obstacles designed to drag you out of your comfort zone. Tough Mudder isn’t about how fast you can cross the finish line. It’s about "pushing yourself -- and your team -- to discover what you're really made of. It’s about teamwork, camaraderie, and accomplishing something extraordinary."
Do you have a race/course that you have always wanted to complete? Have you been looking for an opportunity to try something new and a group of people to join you? At N'Tense Fitness you will find many members who are up for a challenge. If you want to form a team for an event not listed or if you would like to work with a trainer to identify future goals we can work with you.
Hero WOD to honor Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy who was killed in action in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. The workout mirror's Michael's favorite, which he referred to as "Body Armor." Every year synonymous around the world individuals pay special tribute to Lieutenant Murphy by joining together and completing it.
Challenge workout to honor the anniversary of Operation Red Wings and the passing of Littleton's own Danny Dietz Jr. Petty Officer Dietz’ courageous and selfless heroism, exceptional professional skill, and utmost devotion to duty reflected great credit upon him and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the U.S States Naval Service.
WOD FOR WARRIORS
WOD for Warriors is a workout held on Veterans Day at gyms and boxes across the country. All proceeds from this event go directly to supporting Team RWB. WOD for Warriors is held yearly on the 11th month, 11th day, and 11th hour to celebrate the service of all U.S. military Veterans.
Tribute workouts pay homage to heroes who have fallen and are a source of inspiration to those who complete them.
